Installing our PPD

Before saving your file as a Postscript file, you will need to install our required PPD (Postscript Printer Description), using the Adobe PS driver.

These can both be obtained via the links below. Right click on the links and choose 'save target as'. Save these files into a specific folder created by you, on your C drive.

Follow the instructions below to install the PPD. You can click on the images below to see full size screen shots.

To run the installation software double click on the winsteng.exe, this will automatically install the Adobe PS Utility onto your computers hard disk. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW TO CONFIGURE THE DIGITAL PRINTER DRIVER CORRECTLY.

Click Next

Please read the License agreement and if all is ok, click Accept.

Check the connection is Local Port – then click Next.

You will next be asked for the ppd – which should be placed on your c drive in the folder which you created. Find the file and press ok. It will then pick this ppd up. Then press Next.

Check your sharing settings are set as above. Press Next.

Press Next.

Press Next.

 

Click on Finish. This will complete the installation of your postscript printer – you are then set.
