Microsoft
Publisher 2000 Windows PC
We
can accept Publisher 2000 documents in their native format, providing the
following "Pack and Go" instructions are followed. We do, however,
prefer them in Postscript format, which is also explained below.
Supplying
Digital Artwork using "Pack and Go"

Open
the Document you require printing. |
| 2.
|
Under
"File", go to "Pack and Go"
and select "Take to a Commercial Printing Service". |
| 3.
|
Click
Next. |
| 4.
|
Select
destination for files and click on Next. |
| 5.
|
Select
all options within the "Include Fonts and Graphics"
dialogue box and click Next. |
| 6.
|
Within
the "Pack My Publication" dialogue box, check
details and click Finish. |

Select
"Print a Composite" and click OK. |
| 8.
|
Filling
in "Notes" is optional, then click OK. |
| 9.
|
Check
your destination drive or folder. You should have 2 files; one file
with a ".PUZ" extension and one "Unpack.exe" file.
These are the only files we require to print your job. |
Supplying
Digital Artwork in Postscript format
Install the required printer as the temporary default
printer.

Open
the Document you require printing. |
| 2.
|
Under
"File", go to "Save As". |
| 3.
|
Select
"Postscript" (*.ps) as your "Save as type". |
| 4.
|
Select
the destination for your file, give the file a name and click on "Save". |
| 5.

Select
"DPM 2340" as printer name and "Print
Composite" under "Separations",
if available. |
| 6.
|
Under
"Properties" select a larger size paper than
your document (i.e. for A4 choose A3). Select 1-up in layout and select
appropriate orientation. Leave all other options as default. Click
OK. |
| 7.
|
Click
"Advanced Print Settings" and under "Publication
Options" select "Print full-resolution linked
graphics" under "Graphics". Select
"use only publication fonts" under "Fonts".
Select all available options under "Printer's Marks"
and "Bleeds". Select "improve screen
and printer colour matching". Click OK. |

Click
"Save". |

Copy
PRN file onto acceptable media. |
